Nguyễn Ngọc Mai received more than 20 offers of admission from universities around the world, including many ranked among the top 50 globally. Remarkably, she was awarded three full scholarships from Texas Christian University (USA), the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST, South Korea), and Tokyo International University (Japan). She ultimately chose to pursue her studies at KAIST.

Prior to these achievements, Ngọc Mai was the runner-up in The Conquest Season 3 and earned a full scholarship to study at TH School. Throughout her time at the school, she continued to demonstrate outstanding academic performance, actively engaged in school activities, and showed strong leadership as President of the Student Council at the Chùa Bộc campus.
